Inspired by Elias's time in Switzerland, where he would stop for fondue after skiing or a hike in the Alps, this fondue kit is crafted for a truly Swiss experience.

We serve this at our Alpenrausch restaurant, honored as one of Bon Appétit's Top 20 Best Restaurants of 2024! Enjoy dipping our award-winning meats, roasted potatoes, and crusty bread with a sprinkle of caraway and flaky salt for a cozy meal that transports you to the Alps. Add a few bites of our house-made pickled onions for a tangy brightness that balances each savory mouthful.

Included Ingredients:

    • Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Fondue Pot with Stand (12 oz), 4 skewers, and candle (optional- use your own if you have one))

    • Fondue-  Gruyère AOP, Emmentaler AOP and Mountain Cheese with kirsch (14 oz) 

    • Saucisson D’Alsace - flavored with clove, nutmeg, & cinnamon (4.5 oz)

    • Saucisson D’Arles - elemental, pure & simple: just pork & salt. (4.5 oz)

    • Bratwurst- traditional bratwurst with white pepper (12 oz)

    • Kasekrainer- plump pork sausages are generously studded with Emmentaler cheese and expertly smoked over apple wood (12 oz)

    • Pickled Walla Walla Sweet Onions - (8.5 oz)

    • Carraway Salt (1 oz)

Standard Shipping typically ships and arrives within 7 business days (all perishable products will ship within appropriate cold chain transit times and cannot ship over weekends or extended holidays)

  • Storage & Preparation

    Salami keeps best when refrigerated. Store paper wrapped salami in a plastic bag or sealed plastic container in your refrigerator’s crisper drawer. Serve at room temperature, sliced as thick as you desire.

    For paté and sausage, keep refrigerated. Wrap in plastic after opening. Enjoy within 7 days of opening. Serve paté at room temperature. Heat sausage on a grill or in a pan, after scoring both sides.

How to enjoy it

Make an epic board with these salamis from each region of Europe and pair them with a soft cheese, a hard cheese, made-in-house pickles, stone ground mustard, Jacobsen Salt Honey, crackers and summer sausage, grilled kielbasa and more.

Let nature be your guide and select seasonal ingredients, lots of various textures and if you want to take it to the next level, curate sections of your board to highlight the various regions! Become best buds with your local farmer or specialty grocer produce department!

As a general rule, serve two ounces of charcuterie per person. Or, if meat’s the main attraction, plan on five ounces per person. Mix it up by matching
hard salami with soft, spreadable pâté. Accent with crunchy pickles, roasted nuts, or whole grain mustard. Just before serving, drizzle pâté, rillettes, and liver mousse with olive oil, and sprinkle with crunchy sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
